The Andover Public Schools have an excellent area-wide reputation. With a population of over 10,000, the Andover district encompasses 47 square miles in Butler and Sedgwick counties. Thanks to the tremendous support of the community, a $39 million bond was passed in September 2005. The bond program provided for three additional elementary schools, as well as an addition to one high school and the district stadium. The first of the schools was completed in August 2007. The other two were completed in August 2008. The district currently educates over 5,000 students in six elementary, two middle, and two high schools.

In addition, Andover staff members are encouraged to grow through a variety of in-service programs and through a salary step program that provides compensation for additional college credits.
We also enjoy state-of-the-art facilities, small class size, strong parental involvement, a Board of Education that advocates professional growth, and assistance from the Andover Advantage Foundation (a non-profit educational support organization).
