Ashland USD 220 is small rural district in southwest Kansas. We are located fifty miles south of Dodge City. Our students meet the Standard of Excellence each year on state assessments and we do very well on other standardized tests.

We operate on a four-day school week and our teachers are on a 166-day contract.

Our district is fiscally sound, and has competitive salaries and fringe benefits. Our community is very supportive of K-12 education. We have 95% attendance rate and 99% graduation rate, and 95% of graduates pursue post-secondary education. Our average class size is about 15 students.

Teacher retention is extremely high. USD 220 has one of the lowest turnover rates in the state - annually about 5%.
